What are Impact Barriers?

Warehouse impact barriers are designed to protect both infrastructure and workers. Although vehicles such as forklifts hold an integral role in the working environment, they can also cause significant damage in the event of an accident. To counteract this, impact barriers absorb and reduce the force of collisions from equipment. As well as improving the safety of employees, these impact resistant barriers prevent damage to racking systems, walls, inventory, and other assets.

Polymer impact barriers are effective because they absorb force and spring back after a collision. Metal systems, on the other hand, crumple and bend upon impact, meaning that they require immediate repairs and replacement. Whilst polymer barriers are initially more expensive, they offer longer-lasting durability which makes them better value for money over time.

You can also use these impact barriers as a way to define vehicle routes within your working environment, helping you to prevent any impacts and accidents.

• Double Impact Barrier - This helps to protect structures from high-level and heavy-duty impacts. It is one of our strongest impact configurations. 
• Double Impact Low Barrier - This helps to protect structures from ground level, heavy-duty impacts. It is one of our strongest impact configurations. 
• Impact with Floor Barriers - This system offers protection from forklift and other low-height hazards.
